Ergo Self Cleaning Slicker Brush

£9.43

Ergo Self Cleaning Slicker Brush

RRP £10.99

  • Whisks away loose fur
  • Bendy pins for comfort
  • Effective moulting and detangling tool
  • Collected hair can be easily removed

To use the slicker, slowly and gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The bendy pins will pull away loose hair leaving a smooth and neat coat. If your dog is comfortable with the slicker, press gently on the tool to remove more fur from the undercoat. The pins of the slicker are bendy to prevent discomfort, however, do not press them into your dog's skin. To remove a tangle, isolate the fur and gently pull the slicker through the tangle, starting from the outside and working in as the fur de-tangles. The slicker's head can be pushed forward to easily remove all of the caught hair. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, start gently. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated

Grooming tips: Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.

Ancol are committed to reducing their packaging and using recycled and recyclable packaging. This now uses cardboard packaging that is widely recycled.
